SMM Panel Currency: INR vs USD and What You Actually Pay Before the First Deposit

By Kelvin Mark - Manager | Published 28 October 2026

Quick Answer

On the pages I opened on 28 October 2026, IndianSMMServices.com shows service rates in INR, its API documentation shows USD in the balance and order-status examples, and its terms say prices are listed in USD and INR. None of the pages I read states the conversion rate or says when it is applied. Before a large deposit, check the currency three ways: the three-letter code on the services page, a services call from the API, and one small test order

.

What the live pages say about currency, read on 28 October 2026

Three pages make three different currency statements, and none repeats another. On the services page, every rate I read was shown in rupees, quoted per 1,000. Three Instagram Likes rows as displayed: service 51259 at ₹9.5403, service 51380 at ₹15.9409 and service 51898 at ₹20.7258. The cheapest Instagram Followers row started at ₹54.9399, which is the number to compare if you plan to buy Instagram followers. A currency selector sits on the page with INR listed first and dozens of other currencies after it. No link, parameter or conversion note was visible in the page content.

The API documentation describes a POST endpoint with a services action that returns rate, min, max, refill and cancel fields, a balance action that returns your balance and currency, and a status action that returns charge and currency. The examples show USD. The rate field appears as a string such as 0.90, and the page does not state the unit, so I would not assume it equals the per-1,000 figure on the services page until you test it.

The terms page says all prices are listed in USD and INR unless stated otherwise. The Add Funds page names INR only in connection with UPI and says the currency display may vary by account and service. Our payment methods guide flagged on 15 October that conversion at checkout was not verified. This guide does not change that; it shows you where to check.

Where the numbers drift: shared symbols and conversion markups

The first trap is the symbol. On the selector, the dollar sign is shown next to USD but also next to AUD, MXN, ARS, CLP and COP. The same applies to kr for DKK, NOK and SEK, to the pound sign for EGP and GBP, to the yen sign for CNY and JPY, and to Rs for LKR and PKR. If you screenshot a price or paste it into a spreadsheet, record the three-letter code with it.

The second trap is the markup that a payment provider adds when it converts. PayPal's India fee page lists 3.0 percent above the base exchange rate for converting balance and payments received, and 4.00 percent above it for other conversions, including those involving INR. That page shows a last-updated date of 31 May 2021, so treat the numbers as a prompt to check, not a current quote. I have not verified whether this panel's PayPal checkout converts on your behalf.

Illustrative example, not a guarantee: 10,000 units of service 51259 at ₹9.5403 per 1,000 comes to ₹95.40. A 4 percent markup on that order is about ₹3.82, which is negligible. On a ₹10,000 deposit the same 4 percent is ₹400. Percentage costs matter most when you deposit big, while flat fees would matter most on small deposits. The Add Funds page says fees may vary, so read the one shown on your payment step.

A low rate per 1,000 is also only part of a label. If you are comparing what looks like the cheapest SMM panel row against another, read the refill, drop and speed words first; our service names guide explains them. No list can name the best SMM panel for you without knowing your currency, your payment rail and your deposit size.

A four-step currency check before your first deposit

  1. Pick one service on the services page by its ID. Write down the ID, the three-letter currency code and the rate per 1,000.
  2. If you use the API, call the services action and compare the rate returned for the same ID. Then call balance to see which currency your account holds. Do not assume the rate field is per 1,000; confirm it against the charge in step four.
  3. On the Add Funds step, read the amount, currency, fee and expected processing time shown before you pay. Note the amount in the currency you will actually be charged in.
  4. Deposit a small amount, place one low-quantity order, and record the displayed rate, the charge returned by the status action and the balance change. If the three do not reconcile, contact support before depositing more. The dispute policy asks you to use WhatsApp support first and allow 24 to 48 hours. For automating the status and refill fields once they reconcile, see our refill API guide.

Payment clarity: what the Add Funds page confirms

The page names UPI, Paytm, PayPal, cards and cryptocurrency. It says the available methods may include these and asks you to confirm the options shown in your account before depositing. Google Pay and PhonePe appear only in the FAQ as possible Indian options, and Payoneer appears only in a customer testimonial, so I would not count either as a listed method. The page does not name any crypto coins, so I name none here.

If you pay with crypto, remember that transfers cannot be reversed by the sender, network fees apply, and funds sent on the wrong network can be lost. The terms say crypto and wallet deposits are non-refundable. Refunds are available only for card and UPI payments, are processed in 3 to 5 business days once approved, and require cancellation within 24 hours for a full refund. A minimum deposit is not published.

Methodology

On 28 October 2026 I opened the services, API, Add Funds, terms and dispute policy pages and recorded only what each displayed. I read PayPal's India consumer fee page and the Reserve Bank of India's 4 July 2018 press release, which says Financial Benchmarks India Private Limited took over computing the USD/INR reference rate from 10 July 2018. If you want a sanity check on a converted amount, an official reference rate is a better yardstick than a random converter, though I do not know which source this panel or your payment provider uses. PayPal's fee figures came from its India fees page. The worked example uses a rate I read on the services page and a percentage from PayPal's page.

E-E-A-T & Disclosed Bias

I am Kelvin Mark, Manager at IndianSMMServices.com, and this site sells the services discussed here, so I have a financial interest in you reading this. I wrote the guide to point out where our own pages leave currency unstated, which is not flattering. Treat it as a buyer's checklist, not an independent review, and verify each step on the live pages.

Limitations

I could not operate the currency selector, so I do not know how converted prices are rounded or when they refresh. I did not place an order or make a deposit for this guide. The API rate unit is not stated in the documentation. PayPal's figures are dated 2021. The terms say prices can change without notice, so every rate in this guide is a snapshot from 28 October 2026. Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice.

Frequently asked questions

Which currency does the services page show?

When I read the page on 28 October 2026, every rate was shown in rupees (INR). The currency selector lists INR first and dozens of other currencies, but the page text shows no conversion or rounding note, and I could not operate the selector myself.

Does the API return rates in INR or USD?

The API documentation's balance and order-status examples show USD, and the services rate examples are plain strings such as 0.90 with no stated unit. Treat the documentation as an example, call the services action for the exact service ID you plan to use, and confirm the charge with one small order.

Why does the same dollar sign appear next to different currencies?

On the services page selector, the dollar sign is shown for several currencies, including USD, AUD, MXN, ARS, CLP and COP. Read the three-letter code, not the symbol, before you trust a displayed price.

Can I get a refund if I pay in the wrong currency?

The terms say refunds apply only to payments made by card or UPI, and that crypto and wallet deposits are non-refundable. Nothing I read covers wrong-currency payments specifically, so contact support first, before paying again.

Is there a minimum deposit, and are there fees?

I did not find a published minimum deposit. The Add Funds page says fees may vary and appear in the deposit instructions, so read the amount, currency and fee on the payment step before you confirm.

Does PayPal convert currency for free?

PayPal's India fee page lists a conversion charge above the base exchange rate, 3.0 percent for one case and 4.00 percent for others, including conversions involving INR. That page shows a last-updated date of 31 May 2021, so check PayPal's current figures before relying on them.

If you want to try this, open the services page, pick one service, and run the small-order check above. If something does not reconcile, ask support before you add more funds.
